Automotive Sales Representative

Show and sell automobiles to people who visit an automobile dealership. May have knowledge of specific makes and models of automobiles sold at the dealership. Answer questions about payment terms, warranties, and pricings of the automobiles. Provide customers with product catalog. Schedule an appointment with the customer to visit the dealership to test drive the vehicle. Verify customers’ credit ratings. Process paperwork to submit to the finance department to continue the purchasing process of the vehicle. Select or assist customers in selecting the vehicle that best fits their needs and product specifications. Recommend vehicles to customers based on their needs and interests. Inform customers of availability and estimated delivery pertaining to the vehicle they would like to purchase. Consult with clients after sale/lease signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
